Frequently asked questions

When deciding between traditional and peel and stick wallpapers, it's essential to understand the key differences and benefits. Traditional wallpaper require a more intricate installation process involving wallpaper paste or adhesive that needs to be applied directly on the smooth surface rather than the panel itself. Peel stick wallpaper, on the other hand, simplify the installation process considerably. They come with adhesive backing paper which need to be peeled off, eliminating the need for additional glue or paste. To apply, you simply peel of the backing and apply the wallpaper directly to the walls. This makes it a more accessible option for DIY projects and those looking for a speedy and clean application process for a great price. For more detailed information and photo comparison regarding material differences in color and texture visit our How To section of the website.

You can, of course, technically remove and reuse it however we do not advertise our removable wallpapers as reusable. However, when installing wallpaper, you can restick it multiple times to achieve best result. If you decide to reuse the wallpaper after all, then you would need to save the backing paper in perfect condition and when removing the panels off of the walls, you must be extra careful to make sure it comes off in perfect condition. Unfortunately the surface where the wallpaper is applied can be prepared in various ways, which can affect the removed sheets. And when the panels are removed you would need to place each of them back on the backing paper perfectly, to ensure there are no dust or air left between wallpaper and the backing paper, otherwise the panels will not work second time. Another thing to keep in mind is that the longer the wallpaper stays on the installed surface, the harder the glue gets, which will also require extra diligence when removing the wallpaper. It is rather tricky process which is not easily achievable and can damage the quality of the panels, therefore we do not recommend trying this, but, as mentioned, technically it could be possible.

It is generally not recommended to apply removable wallpapers over existing wall-coverings unlike other products, as it may not adhere properly and could cause damage. It's important to keep in mind that peel and stick wallpaper is designed to adhere to smooth, clean surfaces without any texture. When applied over existing wallpaper, the adhesive may not stick properly due to the textures and material of the underlying layer. This can lead to peeling, bubbling, wrinkles and generally create unsatisfactory finish. Instead, take the time to remove the old wallpaper and properly prepare the walls. This ensures the new roll adheres correctly while applying, looks its best, and lasts as long as possible. Proper prepping requires some extra effort and cost, but the result will be a more professional and durable finish that you'll be proud of. For more detailed information regarding application process visit our How To section of the website

Peel and stick wallpaper is a versatile and convenient option for home decor, but for the best results, it should be applied to appropriate surfaces without any texture. One of the best surface is a clean, smooth, and well-primed or painted space. Ensure the paint is fully cured (usually at least two weeks for fresh paint). Before applying removable roll, it's crucial to prepare the wall surface correctly. This involves removal of any existing wallpaper, cleaning the wall thoroughly, and ensuring it is dry and free of dust or grease. Proper preparation enhances the adhesive bond and ensures a smooth, flawless quality finish. What's more, we also offer samples which we would definitely recommend trying out first just to test the material out on your particular surface, for example wood or other spaces.

Proper cleaning and maintenance are essential to keep it looking fresh - and it's easily done! Regularly dust your wallpaper with a soft, dry cloth or microfiber duster to prevent dirt buildup. For easy spot cleaning, gently dab stains with a damp cloth or soft sponge to remove them and avoid scrubbing to prevent damage. Avoid harsh cleaners, bleach, or abrasive materials that can damage the wallpapers. In high-traffic areas, consider a clear protective film to guard against splashes or stains. Control humidity levels to prevent the adhesive from weakening, especially in bathroom and kitchen environments. All these tips are easily done to keep your wall-covering clean and fresh looking!
