Interior Decorating & Wallpaper Trends Of The Year

1. Subtle Foliage

Subtle foliage inspired wallpaper patterns are trending not only for kid's rooms, but for adults, too! And these botanical prints fit literally in any room of the house. Here are a few examples that have rocked the Instagram already!
This modern bedroom interior features our Tropical Palm Leaves removable wallpaper and was designed by the amazing team of Blank Slate Reno. We absolutely adore how all of the patterns of this room play with each other, and that wall paneling seems to be another huge trend of 2020!
This Light Grey Botanical Foliage wallpaper is a lovely addition to those awkward little spaces that need some improvement! Though this perfectly balanced pattern can also be installed all around the room, we love how perfectly it sits in this little nook and serves as the perfect selfie spot at the same time.

2. Sophisticated Florals

Another favourite of ours for this year are florals. Sophisticated neutral tone florals that doesn't overwhelm the interior yet making it feminine and timeless at the same time. This stunning powder room was designed with our Grey Peony wallpaper in traditional wallpaper material and we love how well the oversized floral boho wall decorations play with the dark green wall paneling! So if you wish to find more peel and stick boho wallpaper designs like this one, then visit our Modern Bohemian Collection.
For a more delicate approach on incorporating floral patterns in your interior, consider choosing this Subtle Floral wallpaper. This modern powder room designed by Brasstackskc is one of our absolute favourites!

3. Pure Minimalism

As we are seeing a lot of bohemian inspired interiors these last couple of years, we feel like there should be something to counteract with it all and here's where our Modern Delicate Herringbone wallpaper steps in! It is versatile enough to fit in any interior style, really, but we especially love how it looks in all white interiors. One of the examples is this beautiful minimalistic bedroom interior designed by Pink Lemon Decor
Make sure to visit our Scandi & Japandi wallpaper collection for more simple and minimalistic wallpaper designs for your own home interior projects.
This herringbone wallpaper also works well in tiny spaces, such as this powder room interior designed by Tiffany Leigh Design. Wallpapered all around the room, it makes this room more eye-catching and pairs beautifully with brass decor and black hardware, don't you think?

Another line-art inspired wallpaper that has been trending lately is our Line Art Design Wall Mural. This black and white wallpaper design styles neatly with completely minimal interior decor, such as this lovely home office nook. Even though it required only two wallpaper panels, what an impact it makes!

4. Tropical Vibes

Tropical interior style has always been on-trend, but what we love about it the most is how versatile it really is. Tropical wallpaper prints can easily work in beach house interiors, such as our Palm Leaf Imprint wallpaper installed in this beautiful getaway home designed by Brass And Pine..
...or classic green leaves wallpapers in mid-century modern inspired interiors, such as this guest room design!
And if you're looking for a tropical vibe, but not palm prints per-se, consider adding additional texture to your interior with more neutral wallpaper patterns, that can be easily adjusted to fit any interior style. One of our favourites for this purpose is the Watercolor Brush Stroke removable wallpaper!

5. Modern Farmhouse Interiors

And as you can see, this Watercolor Brush Stroke wallpaper works just as well in farmhouse style interiors! This powder room was designed by Honey Built Home for One Room Challenge in customised green color - the same she used for the wall paneling. And what an impact this pattern adds to the whole interior!
Another trendy approach to elevate the classical farmhouse style is to mix it up with bohemian decor elements. Like in this bedroom interior where our Watercolor Buffalo Check wallpaper is beautifully styled with more modern and boho style home decor pieces.
And if you're a true minimalist at heart, but love the farmhouse interior style, this classic Stripes Removable Wallpaper will be the perfect minimal style background canvas for your farmhouse inspired interior decor!
We're excited for 2020 and see what other wallpaper pattern & interior trends it brings our way and we'd be thrilled to see the spectacular interior projects you guys create this year!
