Travel inspired kids' bedroom | Mood board Monday

Posted by Linda Pretkalniņa on

This Monday we combined inspiration mood board for the curious and adventurous. Our goal was to show how to create travel-inspired kids' bedroom interior with a neutral color palette.

From cotton curtain to clay plant pots - natural materials plays a big role in this inspiration mood board since we wanted to give the interior a cozy boho bedroom mood. To set in the place adventure theme, for the accent wall, we picked "Khaki Green Air Balloon Wallpaper" from Livette's "Travel Inspired Kids Room" collection. The accent pieces for this gender neutral children bedroom is a combination of earthly color bed sheets, woven pendant lamp, and a beautiful reading nook in a natural linen tone. The statement pieces are the ones that pull everything together and makes this gender-neutral bedroom design look complete. To maintain the travel theme we picked a soft grey blanket with a white cloud pattern design that is similar to the air balloon wallpaper. The trendy storage baskets are made in the same technique as the pendant lamp and the plant pots have a natural earthly brown color - just as previously mentioned bed sheets. The last decor for this travel inspired children's bedroom is a world map. For every little traveler, map is a must-have accessory. We picked this cool design world map playmat from Gathre.

To see from where comes all the other mentioned interior pieces, take a look below and explore "Get the look" list. If you have any questions or would like to comment on our travel inspired kids' bedroom mood board, feel free to leave a comment!
