Reading nook is an important area of every kid's room. Given this room is not too big yet needs to accompany two little ladies, we love how Lucy has come up with this dreamy lounge chair reading corner! It is big enough to have room for both girls yet as it is white, it doesn't cramp up the room. The beautiful white canopy hanging over the reading nook chair adds a truly dreamy feel.. perfect spot for fairytales and daydreaming!
In a small kid's room like this, bunk beds is the best option to leave as much of free space as possible. Again, we have to complement the white color choice for bed & bedding as well! It makes the room feel airy and bigger than it actually might be. Looking at this girl's room interior as a whole, it makes us think of a 'modern princess' kind of theme.. do you agree?
Classical pink roses, pastel pink floral interior decor elements and ruffled white bedding mixed with more modern patterns such as the Eclectic spot removable wallpaper, the leaf pattern vase and black framed art injects sort of a modern touch to the room. Light wood details on the other hand brings in a bit of bohemian touch. Adding light wood and rattan interior elements is a good way to make any interior feel more casual and homey.
We love how our Eclectic spot removable wallpaper has been used in a very feminine interior and how it actually makes a very girly space feel modern. This girl's room is a fabulous example that classical patterns mix with contemporary design elements very well and this truly feels like an interior for a modern princess! We're thinking dress & sneakers kind of princesses - our kind of ladies!
