For the first Mood Board Monday of year 2020 we decided to go bold, but in a feminine & chic manner. This bedroom interior was inspired by bohemia and vibrant colours of Frida Kahlo paintings. The lush Fuchsia Pink Pineapple removable wallpaper creates a bold backdrop for the elegant blush pink art deco style velvet bed. The velvet has been around for the last few years and we especially love when it's used in an eclectic interior setting as that element of luxury and feminine chic. To complement the bold pink wallpaper choice, we selected this bright sunny yellow area rug that resembles mexican style textiles with it's minimal & graphic print. The same bohemian inspired graphic print is mirrored on the bed with the Eden Tufted throw pillows in mustard yellow colour and the Evelyn duvet set with a more intricate oriental print to add even more detail. Given this is a bedroom for a woman that loves bright colours [but in just the right amount] we continue to tie in the blush pink shades to subdue the bold colours with our Nude Art Print and smaller decor elements such as this boudoir style candle from H&M. To finish the whole look and give this room a bit of bohemian look, we chose this beautiful chest of drawers from Urban Outfitters and the beautiful rattan pendant lamp from CB2. The natural wooden tones bring this whole look more down to earth creating the perfect exotic oasis that every woman would want to relax and unwind in after a long day! Oh, and these stunningly simple curtains may just add the perfect finishing touch..
